Al aplicar este m\u00e9todo, adem\u00e1s de controlar el dolor, tambi\u00e9n puede disminuir la hinchaz\u00f3n.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Pasos del M\u00e9todo RICE:<\/h2>\n<h3>REST<\/h3>\n<p>Deja descansar inmediatamente la zona lesionada.<\/p>\n<h3>ICE<\/h3>\n<p>El hielo es esencial para minimizar la hinchaz\u00f3n y debe aplicarse durante no m\u00e1s de 20 minutos varias veces al d\u00eda durante 48 a 72 horas. A medida que se minimice la hinchaz\u00f3n, sustituye el hielo por calor en la zona lesionada. <\/p>\n<h3>COMPRESI\u00d3N<\/h3>\n<p>Cuando no se aplica hielo, un vendaje el\u00e1stico puede ayudar a reducir la hinchaz\u00f3n y proporcionar sujeci\u00f3n a la zona lesionada. Si se produce entumecimiento, hormigueo y dolor, puede que el vendaje est\u00e9 demasiado apretado y haya que ajustarlo. <\/p>\n<h3>ELEVACI\u00d3N<\/h3>\n<p>Eleva la zona lesionada.
